E-visa Options- Standard and Urgent Visa

Azerbaijan has two types of Visas. These are the Standard and Urgent. For each of these visas, you need to state the intent of the visit and the date of arrival. Be sure to have all the required documents and the application should allow three working days before you plan to arrive in the country.

The two types of visas (Standard and Urgent) are explained below.

  • Standard Visa – this visa takes no longer than three working days to obtain.
  • Urgent Visa – you can obtain this visa within three hours.

Each of these visas is valid for 90 days. Out of those 90 days, you are allowed to stay for 30 days maximum. During that 90-day period, you can visit the country anytime, just be sure to have all the documents and ensure that they are valid.

    As a result of Azerbaijan’s urgent e-Visa service, qualified visitors may have their visas issued in as little as 24 hours if they qualify. The urgent e-visa, like the standard e-visa, permits the visitor to remain in the nation for a maximum of 30 days, while the visa itself is valid for 90 days. This implies that the visitor may visit Azerbaijan at any moment within the 90-day validity period. Still, they are not permitted to remain in the country for more than 30 days at any time.

Azerbaijan Tourist and Business Visa for Mongolian Citizens

The purpose of the visit must be stated at the time of application. It is classified as either tourist or business. Those who just wish to go on vacation will need to apply for a Tourist Visa. A Business Visa is essential for any business activity, such as company meetings, trading, sports, and so on.

What is the distinction between a Tourist and a Business Visa? The main distinction is that for a Business Visa you will need to submit more information.

Azerbaijan Visa Cost for Mongolian Citizens

The government fees for the standard visa are $26 and for the urgent is around $61. All nationalities will have to pay the same fees set by the government.

The sole explanation for the price difference is the visa processing time.

To make this process easier a single person can apply for multiple people and the method of digital payment does not matter. You will notice an additional service fee on top of the basic visa cost.

Relationship between Azerbaijan and Mongolia

On the 16th of April 1992, Mongolia and the Republic of Azerbaijan established diplomatic ties. Azerbaijan has been added to Mongolia’s list of strategic partners.

The President of Mongolia, H.E. Khaltmaagin Battulga, conducted a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan from September 24 to September 28, 2018.

Between the two countries, three documents were signed in total as the legal and contractual framework.
