Your e-Visa will be valid for 90 days.

An e-Visa can be obtained easily anywhere with an internet connection and it saves time that you would otherwise spend on visa applications at Azerbaijani foreign representations or at the ports of entry into Azerbaijan (if you are eligible).

If the tourist is traveling in transit through Azerbaijan and decides to leave the airport at any time, they will be required to present an e-Visa for Azerbaijan.

If the traveler remains within the International Transit Area, he or she is not required to apply for an Azerbaijan e-Visa.

Using a reasonable quality camera, it is usually possible to make a photographic copy of your passport but double check that all details are clearly legible before you send the photo file. TIPS – take the photograph on a bright day but not in direct sunlight. Beware of using flash photography which can cause reflections that bleach out important areas of detail. Depending on the camera setting, you might find the photo is bigger than the maximum 1MB permitted file size.

An e-Visa allows a maximum stay of 30 days. E-visas are not usually extendable.

The relationship between Azerbaijan and Armenia remains tense but Azerbaijan welcomes visitors providing that they have not visited illegally occupied areas of Azerbaijan from Armenia – notably the self-declared entity of Nagorno Karabakh. If you have visited Nagorno Karabakh you will not be allowed to enter the country, as it means the break of the law of Azerbaijan Republican could be liable for prosecution if you come to Azerbaijan.

No. All nationals who are eligible for an e-Visa pay the same charge.

Foreigners and stateless persons temporarily staying in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 10 days (including cases when they change residence within the country) should apply to the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan online (by entering “registration upon place of stay” section placed under the “E-service” window of the official website of the Service - www.migration.gov.az) or by directly applying to regional migration departments within 10 days after arriving in the country. No fee will be charged for the registration. In accordance with the law foreigners and stateless persons are held liable for staying in the country after expiration of the time fixed in the electronic visa and without being registered (when they stay for more than 10 days);

No. The e-visa should not be attached in the passport. The e-visa should be printed by the applicant and presented together with the passport at the border checkpoint of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
