Azerbaijan Tourist and Business Visa for the United Arab Emirates Citizens

If your visit has business a purpose such as a company meeting, trade, workshops, and so on, you will require a business visa. Those who just want a vacation will need a tourist visa. Business visas are processed differently compared to tourist visas.

Relationship between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates

Since December 26, 1991, United Arab Emirates has acknowledged the independence of Azerbaijan. As of September 01, 1992, diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates were established. In June 1994 Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Ankara was accredited to Azerbaijan.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev met with President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan on December 13, 1994, in Casablanca, during the Summit of the Heads of States and Governments of the member states of the OIC. Eldar Salimov was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Arab Emirates on February 22, 2001.
