Applying for an Azerbaijan e-Visa for Belgian citizens is simple. The Azerbaijan e-Visa can be obtained from the official Azerbaijan e-Visa website. All Belgian applicants should be outside the country at the time of application and can apply for the Standard e-Visa at least three days in advance.

For all Belgian citizens, there are certain Azerbaijan visa requirements. These are listed below:


  • A scanned copy of your passport
  • Hotel reservation or address for accommodation

  • A valid method of payment

Remember that your passport and travel documents should be valid for at least three months after your e-Visa expires.

When applying for both types of Azerbaijan visas online, you will need to state your nationality or citizenship, state the type of travel document or passport, and the date when you plan on entering Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan e-Visa can be created for an individual, for a family (2 to 10 people), or for a group of people (a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 300 people). The person applying for the e-Visa will need to pay electronically and the visa will be sent to the applicant’s email address. Your e-Visa should be printed once you receive it so that you can show it at border control.

  • Standard Visa- The processing time for a Standard Azerbaijan e-Visa is up to 3 days. The standard visa is valid for up to 90 days. Belgian citizens will be able to enter the country within the 90 day period, but cannot stay for over 30 days.
  • Urgent Visa- In the case of an Urgent visa, Belgian can apply and get their visa within three hours. Like the Standard visa, the Urgent e-Visa is valid for 90 days.
